Support and Release – Head, Neck and Shoulders Workshop
Saturday 9th March 2019 – 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Our two teachers, Sharon and Rebeca, will lead you through a thoughtful anatomical practice working with the head, neck, and shoulders.
The first part of the practice will look at, how to build strength to work towards poses such as Sirsasana, (Head Stand). You’ll learn how to activate the back muscles for support and avoid putting pressure on the spine.
The second part will be a gentler practice working with Myofascial release techniques and gentle stretches to learn how to release tension on the targeted areas.
We will finish with a long Savasana including a Thai assist from our teachers.
Note: This is a very anatomy-based workshop so feel free to bring a notebook with you.
Please wear comfortable clothes that are looser around the neck and shoulders.
The workshop will be held in a warm studio (not hot).

Payment is required to book your place. Workshops are non-refundable, however you can transfer your place to allow someone else to attend the same workshop in your place.
