Lift off with Sharangie – Arm Balance Workshop
Saturday 23rd February 2019 – 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Ever wanted to learn how to balance on your hands?
Join two of our teachers, Sharon Iacono and Angie Lake to learn the fundamentals of arm balances.
We will be working towards some of the more traditional balances like Bakasana (Crow) and Parsva Bakasana (Side Crow) with the option of moving into Eka Pada Koundinyasana
And another slightly more challenging, but fun balance, Astavakrasana (Eight Angle Pose)
The workshop will include some longer held poses, exercises to strengthen and stretch the areas required to move into these balances and also a couple of flows to open and prepare the body and mind.
No previous arm balance experience is required, but it is preferable you have a regular yoga practice. It is not suitable for beginners. Sense of humour a must!
